Every photo below is a real Sodding Canada job in the Greater Toronto Area. There are twenty projects here, each shown in three stages: the yard before we start, the crew laying fresh-cut sod over graded topsoil, and the finished lawn once it has been rolled and watered in. Front lawns, back yards, narrow side strips, sloped lots and full property re-sods are all in the set.
The middle photo of each set is the one worth looking at. That is where you can see the prep, which is the part that decides whether a lawn takes root or fails in its first summer. Old grass out, ground levelled, fresh screened soil down, then sod laid tight with staggered seams.
